My name is Nicholas Frank Parker Jr. I restored a basket case 1971 J3 on big tires just north of Woodlake, CA. My children and I have enjoyed owning that plane since 2003. In my opinion this airplane has always been a good air plane. I would very highly recommend this air plane to everybody. Love Field Aviation refurbished our nice plane. This airplane is good. We certainly love this plane.
